The aim of the CCY is to provide positive camping opportunities, experiences and practical knowledge to young people in a structured, safe and fun environment

 

Your membership card will identify your local District Association [DA] and they could well have a Youth Leader so you will be able to camp within their Youth area during a DA meet - away from the parents!

 

Normally, your DA Youth Leader will host youth meets during the year with training and various activities laid on but there are extra meets that you can attend

 

In May, there is the Chiltern Regional Youth Rally which, each year, is hosted by a different DA in the Region

 

In July there is the National Youth Rally which, each year, is hosted by a different Region of the Camping and Caravanning Club

 

The FICC International Youth Rally is held over the Easter weekend, in one of the FICC countries. You must be  over 14 and have passed the Youth test to attend

 

This years International will be held near Bratislava in Slovakia

 

The Regional Youth Liaison Officers (RYLO) role is to maintain communication between Club headquarters and the various DA Youth Leaders and co-ordinate youth activities within the region

Welcome to the Youth Section of The Camping and Caravanning Club (CCY)

 

It is designed for members who are 12 - 17 years of age but will be extended to your 21st birthday if you pass the Youth test before your 18th birthday
