AGM / FORUM

Approximately 30 members attended the Regional AGM and Open Forum over the weekend of 14th to 16th May along with the Clubs’ Honorary Treasurer, Mrs S Birch, and her husband Mr S Birch who is also the Chairman of the Communications committee.

 

During the workshops many items were discussed with both Mrs and Mr Birch answering many questions.

 

The weather for the weekend was kind although most of us spent the weekend in the school hall.

 

Saturday evening we had the cheese and wine evening at which nearly all participated and was enjoyed by all who did. What an array of cheeses we had to sample.

 

Mr P Mileson held an impromptu quiz, which was very well received by all the participants, with a bottle of wine going to the winning team.

 

On Sunday we had the usual coffee morning and raffle - some even took advantage of the religious service which is held every Sunday in the School hall.

 

All in all a very enjoyable weekend by all who attended.
