REGION DINNER

Chiltern Region once again held its annual dinner at the Buckingham Beales Hotel, Buckingham.

 

The event was attended by over 90 members and guests this year and we were pleased to welcome the Clubs Chairman, Mr Keith Jackson with his wife Janet and the Enterprises manager from Blenheim Palace, Mr Paul Orci and his wife as our guests.

 

During the evening Mr Steve Chandler, the Regions National Council Representative received the Clubs Certificate of Honour from the Club Chairman in recognition of all the work he has put in over the years for the benefit of the club and its members. Congratulations to Steve on his achievement.

 

Also honoured was Mrs Dorn Mileson who was presented with the Regional Certificate of Honour from the Regions President, Mrs Betty Stewart for the work she has put in on for and behalf of the Region over many years. Congratulations to Dorn as well.

 

As usual the hotel did the Region proud with a lovely spread on Saturday night with the usual entertainment and well prepared meals for those who arrived on the Friday.

 

Sunday as usual came round all too quickly and, after a hearty breakfast, we sadly had to say our goodbyes and return home.

 

For those that enjoyed the weekend, the venue has been booked once again for January 2011 and I hope that many of you will be able to attend?
